Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using pkgstore ("we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. pkgstore is a marketplace that connects sellers who publish private NuGet feeds with buyers who purchase access to those feeds. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

Description of Service

pkgstore provides:

• • Infrastructure for hosting and managing NuGet feeds
• • Payment processing between buyers and sellers
• • Authentication and access control systems
• • Analytics and usage reporting

User Accounts and Eligibility

General Requirements

• • You must be at least 18 years old to use our service
• • You must provide accurate and complete information
• • You are responsible for maintaining account security
• • One person or entity may only maintain one account

Account Suspension

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or pose security risks to our platform.

Terms for Sellers

Package Submission and Quality

• • You retain ownership of your intellectual property in submitted packages
• • You grant pkgstore a license to host and distribute your packages
• • You must have the right to distribute all content in your packages
• • Packages must not contain malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
• • You must provide accurate package descriptions and metadata
• • pkgstore reserves the right to authorize or revoke publisher accounts and packages at any time for any reason

Pricing and Payments

• • You set your own pricing for package access
• • Payments are processed through Stripe with standard processing fees
• • pkgstore takes a marketplace fee from each transaction
• • Payouts are processed according to your Stripe account settings
• • You are responsible for applicable taxes on your earnings

Content Responsibility

• • You are solely responsible for the content of your packages
• • You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations
• • You must respect intellectual property rights of others

Prohibited Content

• • Malware, viruses, or any harmful code
• • Content that violates intellectual property rights
• • Illegal or regulated content
• • Content that violates privacy or security
• • Spam or promotional content unrelated to package functionality

Terms for Buyers

Purchase and Access

• • Purchases grant you access to private NuGet feeds, not ownership
• • Access is provided through secure credentials generated by our system
• • You may use packages according to their individual license terms
• • Access continues as long as your subscription is active and paid

Usage Restrictions

• • You may not share access credentials with others
• • You may not redistribute packages outside of your organization
• • You must comply with individual package license terms
• • Commercial use must comply with package licensing

Payments and Subscriptions

• • Payments are processed securely through Stripe
• • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled
• • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis by sellers
• • Price changes will be communicated in advance

Intellectual Property

• • pkgstore retains ownership of the platform and its technology
• • Sellers retain ownership of their package content and intellectual property
• • Users grant pkgstore necessary licenses to operate the service
• • Respect for intellectual property rights is mandatory
• • DMCA takedown procedures are available for copyright violations

Payment Terms

Payment Processing

• • All payments are processed through Stripe
• • We do not store any payment information - all payment data is handled securely by Stripe
• • You agree to Stripe's terms of service for payment processing
• • Payment information is handled securely according to PCI standards

Marketplace Fees

• • pkgstore charges a marketplace fee on transactions
• • Fees are clearly disclosed before completing transactions
• • Additional payment processing fees may apply

Disputes and Chargebacks

• • Payment disputes should be resolved directly between parties when possible
• • pkgstore may assist in dispute resolution
• • Excessive chargebacks may result in account suspension

Privacy and Data

Limitation of Liability

• • pkgstore provides the platform "as is" without warranties
• • We are not liable for content provided by sellers
• • Our liability is limited to the fees paid for our services
• • We are not responsible for disputes between buyers and sellers
• • Service interruptions may occur and are not guaranteed to be compensated

Prohibited Activities

• • Uploading malicious software or harmful content
• • Violating intellectual property rights
• • Engaging in fraudulent or deceptive practices
• • Attempting to breach security or access unauthorized areas
• • Spamming or excessive automated requests
• • Creating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions
• • Sharing access credentials with unauthorized users

Service Availability

• • We strive for high availability but cannot guarantee 100% uptime
• • Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance when possible
• • We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features
• • Service interruptions will be resolved as quickly as possible

Termination

• • Either party may terminate the agreement at any time
• • We may suspend accounts for violations of these terms
• • Upon termination, access to purchased content may be revoked
• • Sellers may remove their packages subject to existing buyer commitments
• • Outstanding financial obligations survive termination

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through our platform. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where pkgstore operates. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration or in the appropriate courts of that jurisdiction.
